Los 10 Mandamientos

Y habló Dios todas estas palabras, diciendo: Éxodo 20: 1-17

Yo soy Jehová tu Dios, que te saqué de la tierra de Egipto, de casa de servidumbre.

I. No tendrás dioses ajenos delante de mí.

II. No te harás imagen, ni ninguna semejanza de lo que esté arriba en el cielo, ni abajo en la tierra, ni en las aguas debajo de la tierra. No te inclinarás a ellas, ni las honrarás; porque yo soy Jehová tu Dios, fuerte, celoso, que visito la maldad de los padres sobre los hijos hasta la tercera y cuarta generación de los que me aborrecen, y hago misericordia a millares, a los que me aman y guardan mis mandamientos.

III. No tomarás el nombre de Jehová tu Dios en vano; porque no dará por inocente Jehová al que tomare su nombre en vano.

IV. Acuérdate del día de reposo para santificarlo. Seis días trabajarás, y harás toda tu obra; mas el séptimo día es reposo para Jehová tu Dios; no hagas en él obra alguna, tú, ni tu hijo, ni tu hija, ni tu siervo, ni tu criada, ni tu bestia, ni tu extranjero que está dentro de tus puertas. Porque en seis días hizo Jehová los cielos y la tierra, el mar, y todas las cosas que en ellos hay, y reposó en el séptimo día; por tanto, Jehová bendijo el día de reposo y lo santificó.

V. Honra a tu padre y a tu madre, para que tus días se alarguen en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da.

VI. No matarás.

VII. No cometerás adulterio.

VIII. No hurtarás.

IX. No hablarás contra tu prójimo falso testimonio.

X. No codiciarás la casa de tu prójimo, no codiciarás la mujer de tu prójimo, ni su siervo, ni su criada, ni su buey, ni su asno, ni cosa alguna de tu prójimo.

The 10 Commandments

And God spoke all these words, saying: Exodus 20: 1-17

I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from a house of servitude.

I. You will not have other gods before me.

II. You will not make yourself an image, nor any resemblance of what is above in the sky, nor below on the earth, nor in the waters beneath the earth. You will not bow down to them, nor honor them; because I am Jehovah your God, strong, jealous, that I visit the evil of the fathers on the children until the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, and I make mercy to thousands, to those who love me and keep my commandments.

III. You will not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain; because Jehovah will not take the innocent one to take his name in vain.

IV. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days you will work, and do all your work; but the seventh day is rest for the Lord your God; do not do any work on it, you, neither your son, nor your daughter, nor your servant, nor your maid, nor your beast, nor your foreigner who is within your doors. For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all the things that are in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore, Jehovah blessed the Sabbath and sanctified it.

V. Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that Jehovah your God gives you.

SAW. You will not kill.

VII. You will not commit adultery.

VIII. You will not steal.

IX. You shall not bear false witness against.

X. You will not covet your neighbor's house, you will not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his servant, nor his maid, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything of your neighbor.
